Stephanie Wettstein has more than 13 years of experience in high-tech public relations. Her areas of expertise include developer tools, server technologies and applications. Stephanie’s industry communications experience includes defining public relations programs to target both vertical and horizontal markets as well as general IT/Enterprise. Many of the public relations programs she’s defined include integrated strategies that span product lines to communicate the broader story the client has to tell. She also specializes in standalone and competitive product reviews that illustrate how products work for their customers.
Prior to joining McKenzie Worldwide, Stephanie worked for four years as a consultant for several international high-tech companies. Most recently, she worked with Extensis, building awareness within the IT media for the company’s digital asset management solution. Her recent consulting experience has also included a focus on vertical market publications as well as the general enterprise space.
Prior to consulting, Stephanie spent seven years driving public relations programs for Microsoft, working on Microsoft’s vertical markets, Microsoft Small Business, the Microsoft BackOffice product line, Microsoft’s Development Technologies and Window Server product line. She was involved in numerous product launches including the launch of Windows 2000. Her experience spans high-end enterprise to the development community.
Stephanie has a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Oregon State University.
