Randy Unsbee is a seasoned and versatile public relations professional with more than 20 years of experience in both the Business-to-Business and Business-to-Consumer markets. His primary expertise is in media relations with high-tech publications and he has successful working relationships with several key publications important to Tektronix.

In addition, he has a strong understanding of the vertical industry media due to his broad range of experience working on public relations programs for several vertical industries such as Healthcare, Financial Services, Government, Automotive, Manufacturing & Transportation and Sports.

Randy's high-tech client experience includes Microsoft, Sharp Microelectronics, Wyle Electronics, Analogy Inc., ABC Technologies, Agilis Computers, Boole & Babbage, Software Publishing Corporation, The Complete PC, Oak Technology, Excel, Imagenation, GHz, Northwest Telecom, PSC, Axian, Trimble Navigation, Tripod Data Systems, GE Interlogix.

Prior to joining McKenzie Worldwide, Randy acted as Public Relations Manager for RCW and Sanda Communications. Earlier, he was Public Relations Director at ABC Technologies, Senior Account Executive at Young & Roehr Group, Account Supervisor at Franson & Associates and Account Manager at Waggener Edstrom. During his tenure at Waggener Edstrom he helped design and implement Microsoft's "best-ever programming language introduction."

Throughout his career Randy has developed more than 30 award-winning communications and advertising campaigns and budgets, supervised and trained personnel, conducted media and analyst tours, devised product launches, managed creative layout and design, researched and implemented media buying strategies, created advertising and editorial copy, designed direct mail and newsletter campaigns, wrote speeches and operated speakers' bureaus, researched and created industry white papers, created new business presentations and took the lead in acquisitions, and managed Web content development and design.

Randy has a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism with full University Honors; minors: Political Science, History and Literature from Northern Illinois University.
