Open Text Experts to Lead Technology Breakout Sessions

ORLANDO, FLMay 15, 2006 – Open Text™ Corporation (Nasdaq: OTEX, TSX: OTC), a leading provider of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) software, said today it will showcase the latest capabilities in its Livelink ECM Suite for SAP® solutions at SAPPHIRE® '06 Orlando, SAP's international customer conference, and the 2006 ASUG Annual Conference – both events are being held simultaneously this week at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

Open Text's Livelink ECM Suite for SAP solutions offers a complete range of capabilities for managing and archiving business documents – incoming/outgoing invoices, orders, delivery notes, quality certificates, human resources documents – that originate from customers' SAP solutions. Open Text's solutions help customers improve the way they manage content from SAP solution-based systems to improve efficiency in key processes, manage compliance and reduce costs. Solutions Open Text will showcase include:

• Accounts payable, vendor invoice management, contracts management and other solutions designed to help customers improve process efficiency and reduce costs, while enhancing their SAP solutions.
• Archiving solutions, which give customers a secure, scalable, long-term archive, with specific capabilities to address complex process requirements or compliance mandates.
• Solutions that consolidate and archive content from multiple SAP solution-based systems and/or legacy systems to help customers speed their transition of enterprise business functions such as accounting or human resources to new SAP solutions.

Open Text executives will also lead a series of breakout sessions during the event to discuss ECM technology for SAP solutions.

Monday, May 15:
• 10:50 a.m. - 11:50 a.m.: How customer Sealed Air improved Accounts Receivable processing with its Open Text and SAP solutions.
• 12:45 p.m. - 1:15 p.m.: New capabilities for integrating SAP solutions and Microsoft Office.
• 4:30 p.m. -5:30 p.m.: How customer Valero Energy optimized processes for accounts payable using Open Text's vendor invoice management solution.

Tuesday, May 16:
• 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.: SAP information lifecycle management: Retention, management, retrieval and disposal of SAP content, while adhering to security and corporate governance requirements.
